Bangalore, May 15 Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as the single largest party in Karnataka legislative election. Assembly polls have thrown up a hung verdict towards BJP, therefore to discuss the same newly elected legislature party is scheduled tomorrow.
Karnataka: B S Yeddyurappa to Lead the Meet
The meeting will take place under the presidency of state chief B S Yeddyurappa. According to party sources, Yeddyurappa is likely to elect as the new leader of the BJP legislature party.
None of the party had reached the magic figure of 113 seats to form the government in Karnataka. In the evening, Congress and JDS leaders met governor Vajubhai Vala. They have claimed to form JDS led government in the state.
The governor has told both delegations that he will take a decision only after he receives communication from the election commission about the final poll results.
